A Nighttime Curiosity

Life took me off of the farm yesterday.  And so, I was not going to have a blog post for you today.  However, last evening during our bedtime chores something was happening that I knew I had to share with you.  Please excuse the video quality... it's nothing fancy.  But... it's insanely fascinating!  (At least I thought so.)   If video doesn't load for you here, you can watch it HERE on You Tube.

This is so cool! Nothing beats nature's entertainment. Thank you for sharing not only your farm life with us, but also the wild side of central PA. It's much appreciated by a former farm girl and nature lover stuck in the suburbs of Philly. 😅
So cool! That must be what they sound like when they are babies practicing their ribbits! Lots of them mean good for your gardens this year.

Where have all those little frogs been hiding out? Where do they go once mating season is over for them?

Oh what fun! Thanks SO much for posting:) I can't quit watching the video! You are so right -absolutely fascinating!!!
I think one frog is pretty cool but I get nervous and creeped out when there are multiple all in one area. When I see things like that I doubt very much I would enjoy farm life.
I wonder how Forest would react to all of them??
So cool! I wonder what they're saying? Thanks for sharing a great video!

This brought a smile to my face. Their voices sound pre pubescent with the possible deepening of the "croaks" later???

Actually, the sound of their voices is their species' call... more of a quacking. These frogs were fully mature and doing their mating ritual.
