Well, I have to answer that question.
Of course there are things that are sweeter than this.
But, to me this ranks up there pretty high....
Sammy loves our new barn kitten, Leo.
And Leo is a love sponge...
soaking up every bit of attention he can get.
For as ferociously as Sammy plays with Oakley,
he is so very gentle with the other animals and birds.
He loves the cats,
and the cats love him!
Arriving at the barn yesterday morning,
I saw this
and it just struck me as funny, and sort of artistic.
"Fifi on Plow"
I might have to frame this one!

I agree with you...that IS just the sweetest picture. Sammy has such a kind nature...you can see it in his eyes in the first picture. Our Chelsea is about the opposite of Sammy...she's a tease and not always in a nice way and she'd rather run a cat down and bug it to death than let one lay on it's legs although she has gotten better the last year or so. Love the picture of Fifi on the plow....'farm art'! I hope your weather is still nice up there and you're enjoying a beautiful fall.

Love the chicken shot too! Good thing you had your camera on you to capture that moment!
Chickens do make the most wonderful artistic statements. I probably have more photos of chickens posing in the garden than any other animal.
I noticed your wonderful log cabin along the sidebar. I love it!!! We live in a house that is about 120 years old, but I have a penchant for log houses. I am going to buy one someday and bring it to our property. YOURS IS GREAT!
