OK... Who's Been Eating All Of The Duck Feed?

There are presently two ducks on our pond.  Compare that to the almost 100 who flock here in the wintertime.  Each morning, we place a very large scoop of duck feed in the bowl next to the pond.  By noontime, the feed is gone.  Another scoop is put in the bowl.  After all, we don't want our two domesticated ducks to go hungry, now, do we?  But this leads us to the mystery of... who is eating all of the duck food.

Thanks to technology and a motion-sensitive game camera, the list of suspects includes the following:

 Mr. Groundhog...

And the Mrs.  We have no shortage of them on the farm!

Hey, Mr. Cardinal... there are bird feeders for you at the house!

One (and sometimes two) of our merry band of ravens...

Ok, guineas... you have your own feed at the barn.  Besides, you are supposed to be out eating insects and ticks!  Be on your way!!

I'm wondering if this is our resident doe.  I haven't seen any fawns on the farm this season.

There were many photos of this gal visiting the duck feed!

Then there were the nighttime visitors... the raccoons... whom I am assuming gave up on looking for food up at the house.

Naturally, an opossum - they're game for anything edible.

Whew... thank goodness you two are getting some nutrition.  There's a lot of competition around here!

Meanwhile, back at the house...
I guess you can't blame them for trying!

Sorry guys, the birdseed is tucked away in the garage for the night.

Loved seeing all you dinner guests! I only get birds and brown bunnies at mine, but they give me many smiles to start each day.
