The Sun Returns

And just like that, almost magically, the sun has returned - and with it, warmer temperatures during the daytime.  It's been absolutely lovely.  It amazes me how many more birds are singing when the sun is out compared to a cloudy day.

Cloudless days lead to cloudless nights.  And with no clouds to hold the heat close to the earth, the temperature falls rapidly when the sun goes down.  From almost 60 degrees on Saturday down to 21 degrees on Sunday morning before the sun rose.

The ground was re-frozen, making morning chores easier (no mud)

And, no mud, meant that this guy actually stayed clean for a day!

Everyone enjoyed the return of the sun...

as they took their late morning (post-grazing) naps.

We walked in the woods with the dogs under a perfectly blue sky.

Of note was the amount of buds we saw on the trees... something I had not noticed before now.

There are little signs all over that tell us... spring is just around the corner.  Although with that corner being March... who knows what can happen!

Good Monday morning! The sun is shining 🌞 bright this morning in S.CO!
On Match 10th the time changes ... again! I hope March doesn't nip those new buds in the bud!
