I had a suspicion that building a snowman in the front pasture
might lead to a couple of "tails".
Horses don't disappoint.
Not when it comes to shenanigans.
They were all out eating their breakfast,
ignoring the snowman.
That is, until the hay was finished.
Seeing something new and strange,
of course they all had to investigate.
(And by investigate, I mean take a bite or two!)

Scarlet, however, felt the need to take off both of the snowman's arms and
all of her accessories ...
all of her accessories ...
systematically removing every piece that wasn't snow.
When Moonbeam saw what she had done,
he sauntered over and admonished her.
Scarlet hung her head in guilt.
And then, all of a sudden, she got a gleam in her eye...
and she huffed and she puffed....
and started rocking that snowman...
back and forth...
until...
Crash!
The snowman was in three pieces on the ground.
"There!" said Scarlet.
"Finished."
"Sure glad I didn't do that!" sighed Moonbeam through frosty lips.
If Scarlet were human, I am sure she would be one of those kids who would
read the sign on a wooden bench that said "wet paint",
and still think it was just fine to sit down!
