Yesterday was fabulous!
65 degrees, sunny....fabulous!!
(And to think just a few weeks ago we had several feet of snow.)
I finished up a few outdoor chores, like painting the chicken coop
that is closest to the house.
It used to be grey.
Now it matches the log home...
(And yes, that is a little snow remaining on the ground in front.)
This henhouse is home to Kenny Rogers and his eleven hens.
They have a small yard for times when predator risk is high.
This is a necessity, as they live on the edge of the woods.
After work time, it was playtime...
This is Jenn (daughter, and mother of my soon-to-be-born first grandchild...in July)
She is treating the goats to their favorite snack.
You guessed it....Ritz crackers.
One of these days I am going to send a bunch of photos to Nabisco.
I think our farm could be a great commercial for Ritz!
The goats love them, the horses, chickens, and dogs love them, too.
(not to mention the humans that steal the crackers from the goat feed bins)
These are our badly mannered Dwarf Nigerian Goats.
Notice how chubby they have gotten!!
From here we moved on to the fainting goat babies.
These little kids are so outgoing and full of themselves!
They love to chew...on everything...especially hair!
Here I am having a little face talk with O'Malley,
who is pregnant.
And this is what happens.....
...unruly kids!!
Don't eat the hair!!
