Good morning! As you can see... I have successfully escaped the clutches of the pirates that had been holding me captive! Life on the farm has returned to the normal, quiet ebb and flow once more. What a whirlwind week we had with the grands.
So many great memories were made!
And what great helpers they have all become. Everyone loves scooping poop!
I also had a day with the biggest of them all... Tyler. I can hardly believe he is just a few days shy of his 14th birthday. What a wonderful young man he has become.
We took delivery of our final load of hay. The barn is stocked for another winter (or two).
The garden is exceptionally dry right now - requiring a good watering every other day.
Apparently, puppies need frequent watering as well!
As soon as the hose turns on, the teeth start gnashing!
The first zinnias and sunflowers have emerged.
Here's a peek at what is growing right now...
Sugar peas (closest box), kale and chard (next box), Garlic (next), Onions (last)
Beans and squash.

We are dry here as well, with no rain in sight! Grateful for irrigation.
Yes, please, a garden video would be appreciated!
Enjoy the weekend.
Your garden has exploded it seems. Do you do a lot of canning of your garden goodies? We are in for some very hot days in this coming week. But really can't complain the weather has been so nice this far unto the year.
Enjoy your day!
Sounds like a lot of people are having the same kind of weather. Even Canada!xxoo
Like seeing your “grand helpers!”
