Once again I just missed a beautiful sunrise.
These guys were waiting for me when I arrived at the barn, posing in front of the little bit of fire that was still left in the morning sky.
Tomorrow... tomorrow I will try again to get out before the sun rises.
Nevertheless, it was a spectacular morning - not too chilly - and promised to be another beautiful autumn day.
We've had a good share of these types of days. For this, I am grateful!
It looks like I'm not the only one!
Liberation day finally arrived, yesterday, and Forrest was allowed to go without his donut.
His activity restrictions were lifted as well. Naturally, we headed for the woods. Amanda, who was with us until today, took Annie for a run through the woods and then walked with the boys and I.
Forrest ran with such joy - finally free after 5 days of relative inactivity. We'll all be happier with the present situation!
I've been trying to expand my sourdough bread-baking repertoire these last few weeks, and found a recipe for English muffins that is really good (and easy). This is my second batch in a week. They have been a hit!
