Happy Thanksgiving - Where's Waldo (Farm Version)

Happy Thanksgiving, farm friend!  Today, just a short blog to say that whatever your day holds, I hope you have a heart filled with peace and gratitude.

Your challenge, today, if you choose to accept it:  Find Ivy in this photo.

She's very good at catmoflaging herself.  This room is our sitting room/library, located in the loft of our log home.  Both side walls have built-in book cases housing all of the books that are important to Hubbs and me.  Ivy always seems to find a spot to nap.

It's out of this large picture window on the left that we can see magnificent sunsets - but only when the leaves are off of the trees.  The rest of the year, this room feels like a treehouse.
Can't find Ivy?  Let's zoom in a little.

Yup, there she is, our little tchotchke nestled in the corner, on top of the bookshelf.

Sending love from the farm!

Awww, cute! What a fun post and what a beautiful space in your home! Thank you for your always positive and often insightful blog encouraging us to appreciate the wonders of the natural world and to find the magic deep in the heart of our world. We have a very different landscape here in northern NM but equally wonderful in its own way. Have a wonderful day! Becky

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Aren’t cats something? They do love to be above it all if possible. My hubs and I made a cat tree for the girls many moons ago and our Annie has found it is a warm, cozy place near the ceiling. Debbie

She has a front row seat!! We have a lizard named Waldo, for the same reason. He was bitty when we took him on for the summer and he never did go back to a classroom with our grandson. I was always looking for him in his habitat, hence the name Waldo. Wishing you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving!!! xoxox

I did see Ivy right away. Of course, we have 4 cats, so we are familiar with their antics. Our cats would love your bookcases. What an opportunity for great fun. (I would love your bookcases also) Hope you have a great Thanksgiving Day. I am thankful for many things, but also for bloggers, like you who share their furry family with the rest of us. Ranee (MN)

Your posts are a welcome visit from a friend on what is a lonely day for many of us Seniors - we have so much to be grateful for in this great country.
Happy Thanksgiving! We know kitties like those high up places where they can keep on eye on all that goes on.
Happiest of Thanksgivings to you and your Hubbs. Couldn't find Ivy until you zero'd in on her. Ha! Looks like a fun place to perch!
