We awoke yesterday morning, thinking that we would be doing morning chores in the snow.
Surprise! No snow.... at least not during chores.
Expecting 3 to 6 inches as predicted, we double-checked the weather forecast to find that the snow was to start later in the morning.
We were able to finish chores on fairly dry, frozen ground.
The snow arrived, as predicted, right around 10 AM and by the time afternoon chores rolled around, the snow had stopped.
I'll take two inches over 3-6 any day!
While I tended to afternoon chores, with Bobby riding shotgun,
Jack plowed the driveway of the morning's accumulation.
A little snow doesn't deter these girls... they headed to the snack corner without hesitation.
It ended up being the perfect snow day... enough to make everything look beautiful, but not enough to be a nuisance.
The past few days I have busied myself with cleaning closets... and all of those spaces that seem to accumulate "stuff". My bathrooms are re-organized, as well as my sewing room closets. This time of year gives us the opportunity to take care of all the little things that go undone during the more temperate months.
There's nothing nicer than being able to look out the window at such a beautiful wintry scene!

Your photos of the farm are fabulous.
We had more rain than the snow that was predicted. Our neighborhood snowmen seemed to have taken on a new look with the melting that was happening. They say a little bit more today. We shall see. I love when we have snow. Being born and raised in upstate NY, winter doesn't seem like winter without it!
Have a great day!
It surely is beautiful, though!
Sounds like you are taking full advantage of winters' down time..Hugs
