Yesterday was one of those days where we hit the ground running as soon as we awoke. The skies gifted us with a brief, but lovely show at sunrise...
and the clouds quickly moved onward, leaving behind a lovely, sunny (and windy) day.
While we were out doing chores, we noticed that a tree had fallen across our wires, so Jack grabbed the chainsaw and took it down.
I took a walk through the garden to see if any sugar peas were hanging. No, but a whole lot of blossoms - so we should have another harvest soon!
I noticed that the raspberry vines had turned a lovely shade...
and the last blossoms of the garden still visible were these tiny flowers of the fern-leafed tansy. In reality, these blossoms are about a half inch in diameter.
I stopped at the barn for a little loving...
dear Red is always up for a snuggle or two.
I sat and petted Pete and Moll, then headed home for the day's activities. The day took us off of the farm, which unfortunately makes for a very short blog today. My apologies... but we will be back on Monday with more tales to tell.
