Short On Words

 There are days when I just don't have that much to say.  That might surprise you if you've read my blog for any length of time.  

But... today I am hoping that pictures are worth a thousand words, as they say.

Yesterday, a very quiet day, found me alone... but not lonely.  Now, how could anyone be lonely with these two furballs in one's lap!

With the exception of the sheep, 

who are easily bribed with treats,

No one seems to grasp the concept of personal space! (Especially Chester, whose only goal is to make sure he doesn't miss one square inch of me with his tongue!)

Annie, on the other hand, is much more subtle and offers occasional "air kisses"... close but, but no slimy tongue on skin kisses from her!  She has manners.

Seriously, though, there's nothing like a donkey to make a person feel loved!

A rare occurrence... the donkeys are not too keen on dogs or cats!

 PS: I received a question as to where one can find Book Nook kits.  I found mine on Etsy, however, I have also seen them on Amazon (for less).  If you do a web search for wooden book nook kits, you will find a wealth of them!
