Please excuse my absences in the coming days. I will be spending several days this week with my Littles. Each of our littlest boys have someone in their daycare with Covid, so they are on quarantine at home for the next few days.
It’s difficult for working parents when daycares are shut down… and I am more than happy to help out in these difficult times. So, although I will miss spending time with my critters here on the farm, I will have lots of time playing ball and trucks and looking after these two sweet boys. While I am in town, Hubbs is taking care of the farm!
I received an unusual email yesterday with regards to yesterday’s blog post. The writer wanted to point out that I look at life from a vantage point of privilege. Somehow I believe that the point of yesterday’s blog was mis-understood. Yes, I am very lucky - and there is not a day that goes by that I am not grateful for the life that I live. But none of that was the point of my blog post. My point was simply that there is beauty and sacredness in the natural world, and that these are available to everyone. One needn’t live on a farm to appreciate the glint of morning sun in a tiny dew drop.
Have a lovely day… and I will be back with a normal farm blog tomorrow.

Healing prayers sent your way.
I truly hope that your Littles will be safe and not get sick!! Thank God you are there to see to them during this time!! You stay safe, as well!!
Hugs from S. Colorado!!
And, as for that email, it seems to me also that it was misunderstood, or,at least, read with a limited view. I find such gifts from nature everywhere - in school parking lots, along roadsides,on and on - it is the heart that sees the wonder, not the purse. Privilege is not material, it is from the heart.

Wonderful that you are close by
to help and enjoy your grandchildren.
And they can enjoy you too . . .
I missed the comment but in the years
I have followed you I find you grateful,
appreciative with non stop energy.
I look forward to each of your posts.
