Weekend Fun

I thought I would share a few highlights of our weekend with a video:

Link HERE to video on YouTube.

As you can see, we enjoyed the company of our Littles who came to spend Sunday on the farm.  Days spent with any of our grandchildren are definitely my favorite days.  We went for a "safari" in the "deep dark woods" as they call our 100 acre woods and were lucky to see about a dozen deer.  Baby Eli had his first gator ride.

Helping with chores is always a big part of a farm visit.

Both Mackenzie and Easton are always eager to help.

Of course, every visit has a little fairy play as well!  And of course we all have our own wings!

Even though our unseasonably warm weather has left us, it is so obvious that Winter is all but over.  In celebration of Spring's arrival, I did a little mantle redecorating.

We have an exciting week ahead of us.  We will be driving to North Carolina to finally meet our little Carolina Wren for the first time (other than via video chat.)

Thanks for the road trip. I would love to visit Timeworn Treasures. As always, your decorating skills on your mantle looks inviting. Our cold is back it is -13 with the wind this morning. But, March winds bring Aril showers..... You have beautiful grands and they are growing up so fast. I see some serious cuddling with Carolina Wren in your near future. Safe travels.

Wonderful visit with you at Bee Haven virtually...loved the video, the littles, your road trip. How beautiful is the creek/river along your road home. What is its name?
The sweetness of your grandchildren - happy that you'll be seeing your Carolina Wren soon.

Isn't life grand? A visit from the sweetest folk - and isn't it empty and quiet when they leave? I would have my nephews spend the weekend and after they left on a Sunday night - the house was so lonely - it took awhile to adjust:)
What a fun weekend you had with the littles there and the trip to your favorite store....(I'd like shopping there too!) and baking your beautiful bread....I can almost smell it from here. Loved the video and always love your blog. Thanks so much, Bev! Have fun meeting your Caroline Wren this week. Can't wait to see the pics. Both babies are looking so big!
