Winners and Losers

Today, you can call me a loser.
I have no formal blog post.

Yesterday got away from me, completely.
I had to run to town with a list of errands that I had
to complete... and I was gone for most of the day.
Errands are difficult these days... with social distancing
and the like.

Errands have to be planned and executed like a covert ops mission.

The good news is, I got to visit with these two little ones,

just for a few minutes, outside, with a distance between us.
It was wonderful to talk with them and visit,
but, oh, so hard to not get a hug.
How do you explain that to a 2 ½ year old?
It's difficult.

As for winners...
Diane D. of Wisconsin, please email me your address....
you have a hand knitted wrap coming your way.
Thanks again for playing!

I'll be back tomorrow with a proper blog post.

To Mary of Windy Meadows Farm.
Thank you for your kind words regarding my shed.
I wanted to let you know that I did not lay the floor myself.
I felt this was more that I wanted to tackle...
with the potential for messing it up.
I had our builder's son lay the floor for us.
As for the rest of the shed...
yes, it was all done by Hubbs and me.
I love woodworking.
Laying brick... thought it prudent to have help with that!

Congratulations Diane D.
I don't see one thing wrong with your blog today :) … you a loser.. I hardly think so. It was great you got to see the grands but don't you even long for cuddles and hugs even more after you see them? … It does me :(.
I really thought you laid the shed floor and have no doubt that you could of done it. Your woodworking skills are AMAZING. xxxx

Ha! If YOU'RE a loser - I'd hate to think what that makes me (writing this is my bathrobe:) I call your shed a cotttage - I love everything about it - and that floor . . . I'm a herringbone type of girl anyway - it just makes the whole interior - well that and that adorable stove. Have a wonderful day! Karen - misty, cool Northwest today.
