Triplets!

Brown Sammie has a little something to share with you.
Well, really... it's three little somethings.
And they are on the other side of this door.

Yesterday afternoon I received a text from my brother-in-law, Rob.
He had come across three tiny feral kittens who were in need of a home.
(Rob is our local UPS driver.)

I phoned the woman who had found them and told her I would gladly take them.
And before you could say "kitten rescue", I had hopped in the car and was headed
down a country road.

Arriving at her house I was greeted by about 8 feral black cats who jumped off her porch.
When she can catch them, she has them neutered.
But, not all of them have been catch-able.

Hence, three little kittens... Daryl, Daryl and Daryl the Ferals.

We made them a cozy warm home in an extra stall in the barn.

Dr. Becky is going to examine them today and tell me the sex of each.
They are all identical - jet black with no markings that I could see.
Hence the names.

Stay tuned for kitten adventures.
By the looks of these three, I am sure there will be many!

How absolutely precious! As a certifiable crazy cat lady, these 3 look ready to get into all sorts of things. My daughter brought me a rescue kitty shortly after I came home from the hospital and, although I've probably had 20 cats in my lifetime, this one is the most hyperactive one I've ever had!! Sometimes I think he's on speed!! But I love him and he gets along (mostly) with my other two cats so he's here to stay. Good luck with your three! I've had 3 black ones they were all beautiful.

We managed to catch 2 kittens, in August, that had been hiding under our gazebo. We have feral cats in our town and the vets work with animal organizations and trap, neuter, spay, rabies shots, and dewormer then released. Some aren't too wild and are adoptable but others are just too wild to have as a pet. The 2 that we caught are brother and sister and when we found it might be unlikely they would be adopted together, we decided to keep them. They are doing quite well and are to be integrated with our other, older, female felines this Saturday. They all know of each other but have not had the freedom to interact yet. Wish us luck and good luck with your 3 little sweeties. Our older females are mixed breed and both are black. We adopt black cats as they are often left behind in the shelters. We find them to have unique personalities and have had many adventures. Best Wishes. Ranee (MN)

Good for you Bev, for rescuing these little ones! These must be the famous Darryl, Darryl and the other Darryl! Maybe some will be ladies....then you might have to adapt the names a bit. How ever will you tell them apart? Can't wait to watch these little ones grow. Hope they get along with everybody at your place! Reminds me of my sister in North Carolina...so many feral cats outside her place...every time she catches one she has it spayed or neutered. Thanks for sharing your latest fun story with us!

What sweetness X 3...
Gary's and my very first kitty was a 6month old solid black stray.. She was our 1st child... lol!
She filled our hearts with love and joy for 18 years.
May your little babies give you love and joy as I am sure they will.
