Spring Fever

It's eleven o'clock... time for lunch.
The horses have been grazing all morning.
The call goes out, "Come on, guys, LETS GO!"
It's usually enough to bring everyone running.

But not this time.
No, the only ones listening today are the Littles and they come prancing across the pasture
to me.
I halter them and continue to call the others... to no avail.

Looks like a couple of somebodies have Spring Fever.
"What, no treats?
Well, then, we're not coming."

Moonbeam flops down on the ground...

for a roll in the damp grass...

a sure sign that he has other plans...

Hubbs heads back to the barn to get a few peppermints.
Moonbeam and Scarlet continue on their protest...
(running, kicking, and yes, farting as well!)

while the turkeys reprimand them from the other side of the fence.

It looks like we humans are not the only ones with Spring Fever!!!

Nothing more beautiful than running horses..... except I guess, when you're trying to catch them. Have a wonderful day. Enjoy the warmth.
