Horsing Around

I thought you might enjoy this slideshow of our horses. I took these photos yesterday while doing afternoon chores. Becky's three bays are spending a lazy afternoon at the arena. My Bigs and Littles are hanging out in the front pasture as I do a bit of pasture cleaning. Ollie and Red love to help! Watching these beautiful animals through the eye of the camera forces one to really "see" them....incredible creatures that they are!

All of our snow melted this past week....we have had a bit of warmer weather. Not this morning, though, Brrrrrrrrrr!!!

Oh, that's so sweet. I've been reading for quite a while, and your blog is so interesting. My daughter and I always wanted a farm, unfortunately we are in the wrong place for it. I love reading about it though. And I am going to give her your address so that she can join us. She particularly loves horses. Have a wonderful day in the country.
