Every Day.... A Little Progress

The roof trusses are up! You may notice a gap between the roofline of the garage and the roofline of the house. That are will be framed in and the roofs will meet at an angle. The garage is at a 45 degree angle to the house.











This is the view out the front of the house....standing in the loft. The wide open triangular space will be filled with a log gable that has 2 triangular windows. I love the view from this room....both out the back and the front.

The two large windows on either side of the house will be bay windows. Three French doors will fill those spaces on the very front of the house. Eventually, the foundation will be covered with stone and final grading will expose the doorway better. Also jutting from the front of the house will be a deck and a triangular roof over that deck.
