Adventures For All

With rain and drizzle happening,
and Amanda gone for a few days,
we are having a quiet week here on the farm.

All of the animals have enjoyed her presence here.
Extra doses of love are happily received...

Not to mention the extra exercise some get
as a result of being running partners!

We've enjoyed the extra help with farm chores as well.

She's gone for just a couple days and will return this weekend
for a few more days at the farm.
Downsizing has been an integral part of the preparations
for the move to Colorado.
It's going to be a great adventure for this young couple.

With the end of winter approaching, I am also embarking on an adventure.
I will give you just two hints.
It involves these two windows, and a window-pane door that I found
at a local demolition salvage...

as well as this tiny stove that I am hopefully going to pick up today.

Hmmmmm....
Curious?
No more clues, but we are going to be having so much fun in the coming months!
It's a dream that I have held close to me for many years.
It's time to make it happen.

One of our daughters and her husband live in Colorado, about 45 minutes southwest of Denver. So I understand how you’ll miss them.
