The Cat's Out of The Bag!

We have been keeping a secret around here lately.
We've kept it under our hats for weeks.

Yup, we've been quite tight lipped.

Today, however, we are spilling the beans!

The cat is out of the bag!

Wanna know the secret?

Feeling kind of nosey?

Well....

This little girl is going to have a little brother or sister.
Yes, in July we will add another member to our farm family.
We couldn't be happier...or more excited!!
We still don't know if it will be a boy or girl...but we'll be sure to share that when we hear.

*********************

I have had a few comments regarding our brown (black) sheep's eyes.

In most photos it looks as though Faith is wool blind.

She actually has slits in her wool with relatively unobstructed vision...
although it is hard to see in photos.

I keep a close eye on this situation and would clip these areas if need be.

One thing is for sure...
there are plenty of things to keep track of when you have this many animals.

Many congratulations to McKenzie's parents. Must be so exciting for you all. Love the photo's of "Scarlett" with her wonderful woolly winter coat. Yes you're right, there is never a dull moment when you have animals around and the amount you have to care for surely keeps you on your toes! Kind regards.

Exciting news indeed! Best wishes for mom and baby!!
Aha, now I did see Faith's eye(s), thank you! While I knew that you would never let your sheepies run around wool blind, I kept wondering whether they are able to see right through the wool, "despite" the wool as it were, or whether there is an actual opening in the wool. Now I know!:) Love your photos, every single one!
