It's Beginning To Look....

The house is full of plastic totes.
The paper and tape are flying.

Don't stand still...you might get all wrapped up!

The decorating has begun.
The Christmas tree in the living room is complete.

It's theme: a north woods Christmas.

The fireplace mantle will coordinate, but is still a work in progress.
But, sitting on the hearth.... a woodland Santa.

The metal buckets that I painted a few weeks ago?

Ta-Da!
They are filled with fresh greens, pinecones and mini lights.

The first floor guest room...
ready for guests.

Complete with its own little tree.

I love this tree!

Oh what fun I am having.

There is still more to come.
Stay tuned!

Now we just need a little snow!

Who wouldn't want to stay in that room! Everything is so festive! I am going to steal your idea with the buckets, as we will probably not be able to have a tree this year. Your painted wooden ornaments are wonderful! Enjoy it all!

Absolutely wonderful!! I love it all. Made me start thinking about my own decorations now. Be careful what you wish for, I am sure, where you are in the world, the snow will come in abundance. Best regards.
You're just bursting with Christmas spirit, it's easy to see!
Terrific inspiration to get us in the spirit! And my eye spied a vintage-style phone in the background; right? What fun! Mary, Windy Meadows Farm

Ohhhh just love your pictures! I think we have a northwoods Christmas theme here too in the north woods!!! We even have a bear tree which I bought a few years back....it is a black bear, about 5 feet tall, hugging a decorated tree with white lights. I love it. I think you would too! Your guest room looks so cozy and fun. I love how you decorate. Can't wait to see more. Love your buckets filled with greens and lights too. You're very creative! Love your blog Bev!
