I have a new item on my "favorite things" list.
Preschoolers.
Adorably cute, innocent, enthusiastic, honest, loving...
and so much more.
Yesterday morning, 26 cars pulled up to the farm,
and out hopped 28 preschoolers, some with younger brothers and sisters and parents.
Just take a moment and check out each individual child.
Unabashed joy shines through just about every moment!
It amazes me the differences between boys and girls at such an early age.
The girls are cuddly cute and sweet...wanting to pet and hug all of the animals.
The boys... most just wanted to chase and run and jump and throw.
They were all wonderful with the animals and took their turns...
so that everyone had a chance to touch all of the animals.
Unbridled enthusiasm was kept in check so as not to scare the animals...
and the kids did amazingly well.
Of course Ginger and MaryAnn were in heaven.
"Look Mommy"....walnuts! (pig poop)
Sam and Oakley were in heaven.
The horses loved the extra attention.
As did the donkeys...with a little bit of wariness for good measure.
There were budding young farmers amongst them...
The morning was topped off with lunch in the picnic pavilion.
All in all a memorable morning...
for 28 preschoolers,
and also myself!
I received a week's supply of hugs before everyone left.
I just might have enjoyed this morning as much as anyone!
