Here is the result of this week's construction work. The floor truss system is almost finished for the first floor. The plumbing and electrical conduit was also laid in the basement floor. Even the dogs are excited about their new house.

that amazes me on so many levels - it seems like just days ago it was a BIG hole in the ground
and that you can even think baout that kind of building at this time of year is cool too - we have frozen ground covered in snow ...
can't wait to watch it go up

Ya'll seem to build down first and then up; we build up ,up and more up! Before hurricane Rita our house was up about 2ft on piers- it seems lower now-and crooked. The wind shifted us leaving tiny mal-adjustments throughout!
