Tucking In The Sheep and Pigs

Every evening before sundown,
I call the sheep and the pigs in from the pasture.

They love to graze in the evening, when the temperature has dropped and the sun
is no longer shining in the pasture.

I suppose I could let them out grazing all night,
but I feel like they are safer in their yards for the night...
and there is plenty of grazing available to them in their yards as well.

Sheep are voracious grazers and excellent lawnmowers...

Come with me...and we will bring them in....

Mollie heard you and came as well...The sheep are as big as the pigs!!!..almost.
Stay cool..Summer is upon us once more.
I'm glad you wrote "tucking in" and not "tucking into" -- that would have been cause for great concern!

You are so wonderfully patient with those little four-legged personalities! Love the videos, especially when they all happily come running toward you. Hm, Intermittently Lethargic, Soft-Eyed Sammy, couldn't you make it your job to gently "bring up the rear"?? ;-)
Happy weekend!

oh so cute. Love your videos Bev. I didn't they were gonna come in for awhile there. It's so fun to watch them running along beside each other. With the sheep, it looks like if Momma comes then the other two will follow. Do you ever wish you had more sheep? Even a different kind? They're fascinating. Love the piggies too. Thanks for the pics and video. So good.

The sheepies are so funny!
They run like a lazy canter, it's so adorable!
And when you tried to get them to come in, they are grabbing every last bite before they go back home. They are like, "Do we have to?!" I think they need more motivation to go home, something bigger than ritz crackers! ha ha!
