Puttin' On The Ritz

Yesterday was a frigid winter day...
the kind that makes everyone seek a sunny spot.

The grass remains an amazing shade of green for this time of year.
We've had no snow as of yet, and until this week, not that many frosts.

The sheep's yard is on the northern slope of a hill,
with woods to the south, so they rarely get much direct sunlight in their yard.

This works out well in the summer...helping to keep them cool.
As for winter...I doubt anyone would feel a chill wearing winter coats as wooly as these!

Nabisco...if you find this blog....
please send more Ritz crackers!
They get eaten as fast as we buy them (and not by humans!)

  1. I am really amazed at how gentle the goats are about taking and eating the crackers out of your hand!! The chickens aren't so well-mannered! LOL

    Hugs ... Marcia in CO
