Just Kidding Around

There is nothing better than spending a little time in the goat nursery! Yesterday afternoon I sat with Missy's twins. They are just adorable....and starting to play now. The earlier pictures that I showed you had the buckling in the forefront and the doeling laying down. I received comments about how shy she seemed. I am happy to say she is not a bit shy. This little cutie loves climbing all over you and she crawls up so that she can give you little goatie kisses on the mouth. It is just the cutest thing! Nettie is her name and she is a keeper. We will be adding her to our breeding stock as a replacement for Missy, when she retires from breeding.

If you are feeling blue, just stop by the farm for a little "kid" therapy. Nettie's kisses will most definitely cheer you up!

  1. Oh my gosh they are soooo cute. We have about eight more weeks to go before our babies get here. I hope they are as cute as yours! How old is Missy? Her horns are huge.

  2. Oh, how I wish I could, I would be there at the drop of a hat. Not sure I would want to deal with your weather, however! lol Dash might get a bit jealous but I know he would love to play with everyone.

  3. They are just adorable. That gives you and warm feeling that life is good. Thanks for the boost to my day.

PS I have three goats but no babies...BooHoo!

  4. Oh my heavens, those are so cute! You couldn't be blue looking at them could you?

  5. Oh....Bev. Nettie is adorable and so it the other little kid. I love watching your videos. The video really brings everything to life. You are a lucky woman.

  6. Thanks for the video - this way we can see them as you do. What cuties! I love the coloring and markings on both of them. But that Nettie is adorable trying to climb up on you. So sweet!

  7. Nettie is a keeper for sure...adore the way she skips -- what a cutie pie!

  8. Awwwww, what cuties! I'm showing the pic you sent to me on NGIP now.

Hope you have a great weekend!

  9. Oh My Goodness!
I so do not miss all that white stuff!
Hang in there, it will be Spring soon and you will be putting your new raised beds to good use.
As for those sweet babies, give them all goatie smoochies for us.
    They are soooo stinkin' cute!

We welcome your questions and comments. Questions very often become the subject of a later blog keep those questions coming!! I read each and every comment...they are often the highlight of my day! Thanks for stopping by and visiting with us.....
