Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places

For the past several months, our duck "count" has remained at four. Methuselah still lives....frequently visited by a few pairs of mallards and a pair of wood ducks. We also had 3 surviving "ugly" Muscovy ducks. As of late, our female Muscovy has disappeared. We have not found any remains, so, we are not sure if she succombed to a predator, or if, by chance, she is sitting on a nest of eggs somewhere. It is obvious, though that she is gone. Our two remaining male Muscovies have been seen wandering all over the farm....I am guessing, in search of their gal.
Perhaps she just got tired of having to "serve" two masters and packed her bags.

  1. Cant say that I would blame her one is enough!lol Dont forget to come by my blog and get in on the easter giveaway. Hope you have a great weekend! Blessings,Karen

  2. she's probably sitting on a nest...tis the season..hope so

  3. I love Muscovy ducks. I just ordered a batch of ducklings. They are so cute.
