Farm Life - Good Life

There's more than one way to skin a cat - so I've heard.

Today's post has nothing to do with cats, however; but it does have a little to do with the importance of having a plan B.  Perhaps a good title would be "Baking Bread When Your Oven Is Dead."

I spent yesterday editing weekend video footage... so, today's blog is a video.  I am hoping that you, too, will feel as though you spent a little part of your weekend here on the farm with us!

A vlog, if you will....

I really enjoyed the video visit to your lovely farm. That bread looks delicious. I wish I had smell-o-vision, so I could smell it too.

Absolutely beautiful! That pizza oven ... well, it's an "oven" ... you should be able to back anything you want to in there! Of course, regulating the heat is another matter! LOL
Love that Griz ...

I felt like I was walking along side you this morning! It was a great start to my day, now if I only had a slice of that yummy bread.

In addition to all of the chores and seeing the animals - we get to hear the crunch of the leaves and the wind - SO wonderful! *also the horses munching on the grass - I so miss that sound. I haven't had horses since maybe age 14 or so and I'm 67 now - so it's been a long, long while. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your beautiful life with us - it means a whole lot.

Very cool video. I think your pizza oven is beautiful to look at and now we know how functional it is for all-around use, too. How enterprising of you to give that a try! Yummy looking bread...rustic perfection.

That was a wonderful video, Bev. I loved every minute of it. Your bread looks great and all of your animals looks terrific too. Love how the sheep can chase the donkeys away! :) So peaceful....and you sure do get alot of walking in around the farm. Thanks for sharing! Loved it.
