A Quiet Winter's Day

A brief snowstorm left the farm silently covered in a wintry blanket of white.

We rose before the sun and a full moon illuminated a curtain of clouds, casting a blue glow over the land.

By the time the sun reached the horizon, we were finished with the morning chores.  I took the opportunity to bask in the wintry beauty of my world before settling in for a little quiet time.

Of course, I took you along with me...

So relaxing. To me a crackling fire sooths the soul.
Beautiful and so peaceful! Love real winter days. We don't get much snow here but when we do I revel in it. Love to toast my toes in front of the fire with a nice hot cup of something, watching the birds at the feeders. Just enjoying the quietness a snowfall seems to bring. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous neck of the woods.

I love your ground level videos, but those drone videos are breathtaking ... love them ALL! So nice that Hubbs is such a willing participant in helping you do the videos ... I think you could call your place: Enchanted Acres!
To answer the question posed: I learned a long time ago how to be alone and not be lonely! I knew I was never truly alone!!
Sadly, too many folks never learn!

That is the most lovely video - the piano music especially moved me. And I felt that I was right there in the little haven,by the warming fire, cross-stitching,thinking of things to write about, and dreaming. I suspect the little room was full of us dreamers and friends of BHA. Sitting in silence, sitting in deep companionship.

Delightful--thanks for sharing
can you tell us more about the teas that like and use?
luv, di
Thank you for another lovely video. This was so peaceful and beautiful. Moonbean looks cozy in his stall with the stall door open and a view of the snow. Love seeing Griz casually walking thru the barn. Just all so relaxing. I refer to your 'she shed' as the 'bunny house'. So lovely and cozy seeing you knit by a fire and enjoying a cuppa. Love all of it. I do know there is a lot of work behind the scene but this moment makes it all worth it....especially for us the viewers. Patty McDonald
