Surfing The Farm-Wide-Web

In addition to providing for the physical needs of our animals,
we also try to provide a healthy and stimulating emotional atmosphere.

Allowing our animals to venture into pastures and leave their yards
gives them variety in their days.

From time to time we introduce new things that can be used for play...
something out-of-the-ordinary that provides mental stimulation.

In keeping up with the times, it occurred to us that giving them
access to the internet would be another way to stimulate their minds.

As all good parents should do... we monitored their screen time and
browsing history.
This is what we learned...

After a time learning to hunt and peck,⌨

the chickens spent the day crowded around the screen surfing corn sites.

Needless to say, we had to set up parental controls.๐Ÿ™ˆ

The turkeys had searched Pinterest for Vegan Thanksgiving recipes.๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ—

The ducks ran up a big "bill" on Zappos.com ordering running shoes.๐Ÿƒ

The goats watched, then re-watched, several TED Talks on the subject of
"Overcoming Your Fears"๐Ÿ˜ฑ
(It took a few tries before they could watch the entire video without fainting.)

The sheep spent most of their time on Ravelry.com researching sweater patterns.๐Ÿงถ

The pigs set up regularly scheduled Ritz Cracker deliveries
on Prime Pantry and fell asleep waiting for the first delivery.๐Ÿšš

Moonbeam enjoyed Instagram and "liked" every post he saw.
Then he Googled "How to pick a lock."๐Ÿ”

Red shopped Amazon.com for hair care products.๐ŸŽ€
He passed on the Delivery By Drone option.

The donkeys, spending almost as much time online as the chickens,
read every post of the 7MSN and Dancing Donkey Blogs,
then finished up with a couple reruns of Hee Haw on YouTube. ๐Ÿ“บ

Barn kitty Moll researched "hairball prevention" on WebMD....

and discovered that using a mouse was much easier than the keyboard. ๐Ÿ

Meanwhile, at home, Annie was on Google Maps planning her next adventure,๐Ÿšฆ
and checking the Weather Channel for the next rainy day.

Bobby searched Cupid.com for "10 best tips on how to win her over."๐Ÿ’•...

while Ivy listened to her favorite song on Spotify... "Fifty Ways To Leave Your Lover"

๐ŸŽผ   Just slip out the back, Jack.... Make a new plan Stan....
find a new hobby, Bobby......๐ŸŽถ

You are genius. If this doesn't make someone laugh, nothing will.
How long did it take you to do this? If I had this much talent I would be writing a book.
Please let me know when the Runners shoes arrive.

Enjoyed this very funny and well-organized post -- you probably did a story-board just like film directors :)

Oh this was so brilliant. This should generate a blog hop where all my favorite critter blogs do a similar post. Thank you.

What fun this was . . .
Looks like some were quite intent with what they were viewing.
I hope you had some iPad screen time limits!๐Ÿ˜
