Neighs

June continues to be unbelievably beautiful here on the farm.
We have been so very busy these last few days (and today as well),
doing just this...

and this...

and this...

We love the world we live in.
At times though, we can get so busy with work that we forget to stop and smell the roses.
This little one definitely makes us smell the roses!
She is staying at the farm while her parent are on a short vacation.
I think she might be having just as much fun as they are!

Seeing our world through the eyes of a two year old makes it all the more magical!

" 'Mere neighs," she calls to the horses to come over to the fence.

The horses are her favorites.
"Neighs" she calls them.
The Littles are "baby neighs" she explains.
While helping us clean the dry lot, she made a big discovery!
"Neigh, neigh poopie!!" she exclaimed.

Now I just have to find a manure rake small enough for her!
Anyone with that much enthusiasm over manure should definitely be put to work!
At this age she has no fear of anything on the farm...
which makes it all that much more fun.

She learned that strawberries grow in Grammie's garden...
and that you can pick them and eat them on the spot!
Yum!

How fun! Our farm store has little poopie rakes, but they are plastic. Pretty bright red and have a matching shovel!! Keep enjoying your Spring!
