Dear Spring....Please Come Back!

We have a lot of snow.
A lot.
And I don't believe it is going anywhere for a while.
Wasn't it just 70 degrees about a week ago?

We're all doing just fine with the snow.
It makes chore time take a little longer...
but what else are we going to do?
Our wings are clipped.

We are going nowhere for now.
It's a great time to get some concentrated knitting done.
Here's what's on the needles now....

It's an infinity scarf with four 16" segments that are each different.

Yesterday I showed you a new barn kitty.
Apparently this fellow's name is Lou.

He's a stray who has also been visiting Dr. Becky's barn.
Looks like Lou will be enjoying shared custody.

Before the snow came, I took the dogs over to the woods
to retrieve the game cameras.
Here is a series of photos that I thought were adorable...

"De-da-de-de-de... just nibbling on some tender green grass shoots."

"Oh, hello, I didn't see you at first."

"Hello?"

"Anybody in there?"

"Hello?"

Can't believe you have got so much snow. I did, however, read it on the news about parts of America that were in for snow storms. As long as everyone is safe that is the main thing - and it won't last forever - Spring is (somewhere) around the corner. Love the photo's - they are adorable. Glad that stray Lou has a nice new home. He couldn't have found a better place in all the world.

Lucky Lou! Your captions for the deer pics are spot on. Good thing for all the snow or you might not have so much of the scarf done. So much fun to change stitch pattern...keeps knitting very interesting. I thought with all the blah weather yesterday it would be a good time to start spring cleaning...I'm changing my plans today to knitting!!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrr rabbit is what my hubby would say. Lou looks like a sweet kitty.
Lou's got a good thing going in your barn! A comfy warm cat bed and everything!
Oh Beverly, what a sweet deer! Very curious little fellow.
I can't believe the weather there! Yes, a few weeks ago it was sunny and warm.
It has been in the 90's here.
I wish I could knit as well as you.. Beautiful work.
Lou has found himself a perfect home.

Thank you so much for visiting and leaving such a sweet comment.
blessings,
Penny
