SummerFest

Happy Monday!
Summertime is here in full force...
and with it, all of the things that go with summer.
Like... watermelon...

cookouts...

swimming...

and hours spent relaxing on the porch!

We had our family SummerFest on Saturday to celebrate the best of summer.

Four generations spent the day together...

picnicking, playing, swimming, and enjoying each other's company.

The youngest generation...

cousins.

Above is my beautiful Momma... enjoying her great grandchildren.

The grandma's got together and made giant bubbles.

It was the best of summer all rolled up into one day..
and so special to share it with loved ones!

By the way... thanks for all of the well-wishes from the past week.
Sadly, however, Hubbs and I are still quite under the weather from this strange virus.
Keeping my fingers crossed that it soon decides to leave!

Now I see where you get your beauty! Your Mama! Beautiful! Tyler and MacKenzie how sweet are those pictures? Melts my heart. Your roosters made me laugh out loud. They don't want to miss out on anything.

Your rooster entourage is hysterical - they're beginning to rival Ginger and Maryann for my affection :-)

Oh my goodness! The pink fairy is standing! It looks like your mom is wearing one of your creations. Glad y'all had a good reunion.
Feel better soon. It's no fun being sick.

I hope you and the hubs get out from under the virus very soon!
That virus doesn't sound "fun" at all!
Beverly, before I forget, thank you so much for visiting Rose and your kind words..
Boy, that virus really got a hold on you.. I hope it leaves very soon.
