Under The Watchful Eye

I have often wondered why my barn kitties eat their food so darned fast.

And then this weekend we discovered one of the reasons....

It seems that the Lucilles have learned where a fresh meal can be found.

There is nothing more annoying than having beady little chicken eyes staring you down
as you try to enjoy your breakfast!
Pause... and you just might lose the rest of your meal!

Look what arrived in yesterday's mail...

My loom!
I put a coat of finishing wax on it and assembled it yesterday afternoon.
Hopefully today I will have time to put on the warp.
I'll keep you posted with the progress.

I am still awaiting the arrival of its stand, so that I don't have to leave it on the table top.

I can't get Max's food out of the can fast enough for him..No scary chickens here..They are just little piggies in kitties clothing...

The kittens have grown and are wise to beware of the chickens.

The loom is gorgeous and like the rest of your followers I can't wait to see your first project.

I started out on a Ashford Rigid Heddle loom, watch out, I now have a 5' adjustable pin loom, a tapestry loom, a twining loom, a inkle loom, a peg loom, a 4 harness floor loom and a 12" square pin loom! I highly recommend the book by Jane Patrick - A Weaver's Idea Book. I did a 8' long sampler of every pattern in it, simply amazing what you can turn out from that little loom! Enjoy!
