TomTom says..."Adventures like this make one want to stay home forever!"
You might remember that I talked about TomTom's nasopharyngeal polyp regrowth.
We took him to our local veterinarian who didn't feel comfortable doing the surgery.
So, we made an appointment for yesterday at a surgical veterinary practice.
Unfortunately, in the time between appointments, he has developed conjunctivitis, and an upper respiratory infection.
Needless to say, he is on medications for the next week to get him in better shape for surgery.
TomTom is one of the easiest kitties to manage.
He is pretty cooperative and takes his antibiotic pill with a little wet cat food...
gulp....right down!
The eye drops...takes two people.
The nasal saline...might not be happening!
But, we'll keep trying.
This poor little fellow has become a mouth-breather due to his polyp.
Life will be good again after surgery is over.

What an image is contained in those few words. It made me laugh. Best of luck with that, and best wishes for a speedy recovery for TomTom.

I find that face, nose, eye, mouth touching on our Snickers is met with a ton of refusal . . .
Bet Tom thinks the same . . .
