Puttin' On The Ritz

Yesterday was a frigid winter day...
the kind that makes everyone seek a sunny spot.

The grass remains an amazing shade of green for this time of year.
We've had no snow as of yet, and until this week, not that many frosts.

The sheep's yard is on the northern slope of a hill,
with woods to the south, so they rarely get much direct sunlight in their yard.

This works out well in the summer...helping to keep them cool.
As for winter...I doubt anyone would feel a chill wearing winter coats as wooly as these!

Nabisco...if you find this blog....
please send more Ritz crackers!
They get eaten as fast as we buy them (and not by humans!)

I am really amazed at how gentle the goats are about taking and eating the crackers out of your hand!! The chickens aren't so well-mannered! LOL

this is sort of like the after school kids. i sent them 600 ritz crackers the other day with my hot pepper jelly and cream cheese. they had never heard of or seen hot pepper jelly before but it was all gone along with all 600 crackers. what's in those ritz crackers.
Hi Beverly,
What a great post... I love that you share videos with us... This one really made me smile.. They all have such patience when you are offering snacks. Boy, have the sheep grown up... They are so adorable.
