Weekend temps in the mid-30's brought a little melting to the farm.
When the snow starts to melt,
the build-up of ice and snow on the barn roof begins a slow descent over
the edge of the roof and onto the gutters.
We try to keep this snow and ice cleaned off...
to spare the gutters and also to keep avalanches from falling on the horses.
So.... we manually cause an avalanche.
And when we are doing this, the horses steer clear!
Very, very scary!
I finished another knitting project that was a special order....
This is the Dragon Watcher's Hood with Viking horns.

I bought the book Woodland Knits, now just get the thumb in working order. Maybe by next Fall I will have my Dragon Watcher Hood!! Minus the viking horns!!
Stay warm, looks really cold outside! Burrr!! Hugs!
I love the background birdie noises! Are those the turkeys or some other kind of bird?
