Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!
from Tom...

and Chuck...

who are permanently pardoned from Thanksgiving Dinner!

And from all of the rest of us at Bee Haven Acres.
May your bellies be filled with turkey,
and your hearts be filled with love
on this special day of thanks.

I have so very much to be thankful for on this and every day...
a beautiful earth to call my home,
the best husband in the world,
a loving family,
good friends... two legged and four,
and so much more.

To all of our friends who stop by the farm for a daily visit...
thanks for making life a little sweeter!
Sharing the fun of farm life is all the better
with friends like you.

We will be spending Friday with family,
so we will see you back here on Monday with more "Tails" from the Farm!

Gorgeous! I just acquired five young bourbon red turkeys. I'm hoping for a tom and five hens. Do your toms fight at all? The man I bought them from said that you couldn't keep two toms together.

Sharon, I have to separate the two of them on occasion in the spring during mating season. At that time they fight and try to establish dominance. The rest of the year they are the best of friends.
