Pizza Party!

You'll be happy to know that with a little bargaining,
the goats freed me from my captivity in time for our very first pizza party
at the pavilion!

We had a weekend on the farm with dear friends...

filled with pizza,

 laughter, song (and dance)...
just the best time...
EVER!

The pizza oven was fabulous...
after several hours of fire tested at 1200 degrees...

quite hot....
cooking our pizzas in just over one minute.

By the end of the evening, however, we were back down to the desired
temperature of around 700 degrees,
and the pizzas were perfect.

We headed into the house after the fire died down
for a fantastic trip down musical memory lane.
Favorite hits from years past were sung into salt shaker microphones...

as we danced around the house like we were kids again.
And I must tell you...we were all completely sober!

It was a truly memorable weekend.
Being with friends that you can completely let your hair down with is just the best fun!

As is always the case, when guests come to the farm,
the animals get an extra dose of loving.

As you can see...
they enjoy it immensely!

Even the dogs had friends to play with all weekend!

Love the pizza oven. Friends of ours have one similar and that's how they cook all the time. Dave hopes to make one like that some time soon...Sigh....
