Chicken Eggies, and Other Wonderful Adventures

It was a splendid weekend with my buddy!
We spent some time with the animals...

climbed trees...

and swam in the pool.

Of course the turkeys had to follow us to the pool.

We had a picnic in the pavilion....

which was also attended by the turkeys!

We eventually put those nosey turkeys to bed!

On Sunday we had our farm breakfast and ate some of the berries
we picked on Saturday.

Our Sunday morning routine includes packaging eggs for the next week's sales.

Grammie washed, Muppy dried, and Tyler packed the eggs.
As you can see, Tyler was in charge of "quantity control"!

Sunday afternoon we took a trip to a local attraction...

This family run rescue is a haven for large exotic animals.

Tyler pointed out the large cavies (guinea pig-like rodents) housed in this enclosure...

We fed the deer....

And watched the Bengal tigers, up close and personal.

This was a weekend we won't soon forget!

That picture of those turkeys walking down the path to the pool party is hysterical. Laugh out loud hysterical. Glad you all had a blast. It has been 109 with humidity at 58 percent; tomorrow will be 112 degrees. When the sun goes down it is worse with the humidity. We are so not used to any humidity out here...should have a break come this weekend. Least my skin loves it!
