Before leaving on last night's adventure (more to come on that tomorrow),
I had a chance to get a little mowing done.
Adding up all of the mowing on the farm, there is 15 hours worth of mowing
start to finish per week... if everything gets mowed just once...
including pastures, but not including hayfield.
That's a lot of mowing!
So, every little chance I get, I climb on the lawn tractor and mow a little.
It's amazing the sights I see when riding around the farm.
Like this handsome little box turtle...
the most orange I have ever seen!
My reward for a couple hours of mowing is a trip to the pigpen to see
Ginger and MaryAnn.
Our barn kitty, Moll, tags along just about every where I go,
so she joined me with the pigs.
Have I ever told you how much I love these pigs?
Precious!
And so very gentle and tolerant....
even with a kitty perched on their belly.
Moll is one brave kitty....
afraid of nothing, except maybe the male barn cats,
who think pouncing on her is a major source of fun!

Regarding spinning, stay with it! Wish you were closer...
