Happy Monday!
This week I am doing something I have not done in a long time.
I am taking a vacation from blogging,
to spend with my family.
I will post a few photos on Monday, Wednesday and Friday that were prepared ahead of time,
the only difference....
each short post will just be photos....no writing (ok, well, not much writing!).
I will tell you all about my week with family on Monday (Memorial Day).
Today's photos are some birds-eye views from the hayloft.
From the hayloft (front of the barn).... to the left....
the garden and pastures behind it....
and to the right....
The largest pine tree on the left side is Sampson,
our 200+ year old white pine....nighttime roosting place of the guineas.
To the right of that is the dry lot, then the front pasture,
and in the distance the 200+ year old log cabin
that was the original homestead for this land.
From the hayloft (out the back of the barn)...
