Quiet Time With Ginger and MaryAnn

It's afternoon feeding/chore time and I have climbed the fence
from the dry lot into the piggy stall.
The view from here is...

all of the equines peacefully munching.

Inside the pig stall...

more munching!
Here is a little quiet time with the girls....

Sorry about the silly piggy-mom voice that I use.
But then I suppose we all talk to our animals with silly voices,
don't we?
I wonder what the animals think about that.....

"Well, I think I would like my dinner, too!"

What sort of care do pet piggies require? Pig feed, hay, supplements? Vaccinations?
Thanks!

What a life those piggies have. They have added so much to your farm.

They are sweet. I'd love to have a farm .. not the work of it but the idea of it.

I don't have sound on my computer here at work so I can't hear your sweet piggie talk or the girls munching but I can about imagine how it sounds! My doggie girls love being talked to in a high "mommy" voice-my husband even uses a different voice to talk to them-although not high and sing-songy! HA! It just looks so peaceful to be hanging out with the animals on your farm! Good for my high blood pressure! Hugs, Meghan

Heather....
Kunekunes require grass/ hay, a supplemental pellet feed. They do get immunizations. A little hoof trimming.....and that's about it. They are a very low maintenance animal. They do, however, require a lot of attention....they crave it!! Very, very sociable animals.

Ginger in the corner with her snout hidden in the hay looks like an overgrown guinea pig...Mary Ann has you wrapped around her little piggie hoof..
