Just Pigs

Today's post is short and sweet....
a trip to visit Ginger and MaryAnn.

For once, there is really nothing newsworthy to write about.
Really.
Some days are like that...but not often!

You might think that you have seen the above picture many times.
Believe me, I just took it.

The thing is...
whenever MaryAnn sees me, she comes walking right over to me.
She flops right down on her side...

demanding a belly rub.

Ginger usually follows behind her for a quick hello.
MaryAnn is the most affectionate of the two...
(or maybe she just loves belly rubbins more!)

Temperatures have fallen....30's to 40's at night.
Luckily, MaryAnn and Ginger's hair has all grown back in.

They don't seem to mind the cooler temperatures,
and nestle together in their bed of hay at night inside their house.

For winter, though, I will hang a heat lamp to keep them warm.
I ran electricity to their house this summer in preparation.
Because they are in their own home and not in the barn,
they will also need a heated waterer for winter.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves!
Autumn is here...and winter is far off (hopefully).

How wonderful that this is the only "newsworthy" story you have today!! Always LOVE reading and seeing Ginger and MaryAnn!
BUT- your day has just begun! Hope that it stays unnewsworthy!!
Have a great day:-]]

Here piggy, piggy!! MaryAnne and Ginger are always news worthy. Sometimes it's nice to have a non news day.

The temps are in the low forties, but with rain in the forecast this weekend I think they will rise. I am resisting turning the heat on in the house. Stubborn I guess! Refusing to admit summer is over.

Have a great non news worthy day!!!

Pigs are so intelligent and loving. Ginger and Maryann are lovely. I too would like to hold off on winter a bit. You just reminded me that we need to get the heaters in the water tanks soon. LOL>
What fun those two are. It's so nice that they have each other.
