What's Growing On

Leo update....
I am so worried again about Leo.
After looking better for a few days,
he has taken a turn for the worse.
He is coughing, and sneezing and has stopped eating again...
is rapidly losing weight and has a hard nodule on his neck.

I am taking him to the animal hospital this morning...
more later.

Just a few pictures from around the garden...
everything is ripening...
tomatoes...

 hot peppers...

sweet peppers...

turnips...

corn...

What a good place for a house....
with fruit right outside your front door!
Do bluebirds like grapes?

This year's zinnias are a wonderful variety...

adding a little whimsy tucked in amongst the vegetables.

And speaking of growing....

do you remember that little nest of three eggs in the blueberry bush?
And then 2 of the hatched and I showed you the picture of their tiny naked bodies...
Well, here they are this past weekend...

And here they are today!
Amazing how fast they grow and develop into mature looking birds!

And still a single un-hatched egg remains.
It won't be long until these two leave the nest and join the ranks of birds at our feeders.

And last, but never least...
a quick hello from....
guess who????

Yep, you are right....that bald beauty... MaryAnn!

And look what is growing in all over her back!

She has about an eighth of an inch of new growth all over her!
Yay!!!
She won't be bald for winter!

Oh i hope leo is better soon! Your garden is looking great! !!
I hope poor little Leo will be ok. Maybe he just has an infection. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. The garden vegetables look wonderful and tomato sandwiches will be on the menu soon it looks like.
Your vegetation looks much greener than ours!... Our corn also looks a bit stunted.. I think we didn't water sufficiently when the dry spells have come.

LOVE the bird photos.. my barn swallow babes have all flown the coop.. I am amazed at the growth rate... really just weeks.

Sorry to hear about Leo. I hope you can figure out what's going on with him. All the veggies look good. Glad MaryAnn will have a nice winter coat!
I'm sorry to hear that Leo is still ill, hopefully the vet will be able to help him. Your photos of the animals and flowers are really lovely.

Your vegetable garden looks beautiful, you'll have lots of veggies to sell and process!

I'd love to have a huge garden of veggies. We have planted 6 raised 4x8 beds which we enjoy very much! Each year we expand our little "farm" in the country!

Have a wonderful day!

I'm so sorry to hear that little Leo has taken a turn for the worst. I'm praying for him. He's such a cute kitty. The photos of Mary Ann are adorable. You are getting very good with your camera Bev. Thank goodness the heat broke today. It hit 101 here in SE PA yesterday! We've been staying indoors working on house projects but you have to go out to care for your animals everyday even in this heat. Take care of yourself!
