Happy Independence Day!

Happy Fourth of July from all of us at Bee Haven Acres!

I have to agree with Ben Franklin that the turkey would have made
a perfect American symbol... rather than the bald eagle!

And now a patriotic salute from the Farm,
as a few of your friends perform our National March by John Philip Sousa....

"All together now.....Three cheers for the red, white, and blue...."

Maven:  "Hey girls, you're marching the wrong way!"
(Donkeys aren't so great with choreography!)

Ollie:  "I wanna hold the flag!"
Red: (muffled, with flag in mouth) "Mine!"

Maven:  "Nice marching, Chloe!"
"Daphne, don't drop the flag!"

Ollie:  "Mmmommm...Red's gonna drop his flag!"

Maven:  "Everyone....please keep your flags off the ground.
Now, once again, from the top...."

Well, it looks as though we need a little more rehearsal.
So, while you are all celebrating the holiday with cookouts, fireworks, and picnics...
we'll be here on the farm, fine tuning our act!

Hope you have the very best Independence Day.
Looks like our critters are asserting their own independence!

PS...if you missed Monday's post....check it out!
We are having a giveaway.
And I am adding to the prize.... 7 very badly behaved equines!

Hugs, Amy :)
Happy 4th to you and all your family at the farm. If you want to see a seasoned performance, you should visit Carson at 7MSN. Her crew has great experience and probably parade skills that your group can aspire to. :-))

Too funny. Imagine all the fun we could have if we got our herds together in the same place for one giant parade.
