Pigterior Design

I am happy to be able to tell you that MaryAnn and her sore foot are much improved.

So much so, that she spent a portion of yesterday re-arranging the furniture.

Not liking exactly where her water bowl was located,
she decided to move it.
She's quite the Pigterior Designer!

I have been keeping the girls confined to the barn and the area
immediately around the barn, so that MaryAnn doesn't get too much exercise
on her little piggies.

MaryAnn has had lots of company during her confinement.

The Littles....

and the ponies have kept her entertained.

The turkeys stop by the barn on occasion just to say "hi."

We hope to be able to get the piggies up to their yard beside the goat later this week.
It looks as though the weather is going to remain above 40 degrees during the
daytime, so that makes for good outdoor weather for the piggies.

Yesterday was Valentine's Day,
and in honor of said holiday,
Spider shared some of his dinner with his favorite chicken friend, Mollie Pitcher...

"Ok Mollie, that's enough, now!"

This is Audrey, Spider's cousin,
and the prettiest (I think) of our Nigerian goats.

And, oh, how she loves to pose for the camera!

She just can't decide which is her best side!

Thank goodness I am surrounded by a bunch of "hams"
(no pun intended, Ginger and MaryAnn).
I never seem to run out of willing photo subjects!
And in another month or two I will have at least 5 new "kids" with which to entertain you.

So glad to hear Mary Ann's foot/leg is better. It seems so strange to think spring is so near yet we haven't had a snow storm since Halloween.

I can't wait for the kids to arrive. Oh Maryanne, you are quite the decorator, but I'll pass on hiring you for my house. The distance is too far is the only reason, wink, wink! Here's to a great day on the farm!!
