A Beautiful Weekend

This past weekend was perfect.

The kind of weekend you tuck into your memory banks
in hopes of keeping it there forever...
accessible whenever you need it.

The weather was beautiful....
sunny, breezy, warm.

We started our weekend with a Cinqo De Mayo party
for the family.

Saturday we worked around the farm,
water-sealing outdoor furniture,
spreading mulch,
weeding the strawberry patch,
planting vegetables.

Sunday, Mother's Day, turned into a day of rest..
much needed, much appreciated.
With sweet, special time spent with Jenn and Tyler, Andy and Heather...
and of course our turkey friends!

Tyler discovered dandelions and had much to say on the subject....
(make sure you turn your sound loud for this video)

  3. Oh Bev that was adorable! Looks like Tyler is sporting his own natural Mohawk...how sweet. I had to laugh at his little shudder when he first put the dandelion in his mouth LOL and then listening to his sweet sounds with the turkey's gobbling in the background and the dog chasing the cat...how funny. What a great place Grandma and Gradnpa's is to visit!
I hope you have a wonderful day...
