Spring has sprung!

Bees are buzzin'.

Look what's coming up in the garden....

The first tender asparagus shoots are emerging....

Onions....

Rhubarb....

Radishes....

Perennial herbs, such as chives and oregano....

It does my heart good to see green once again.
I am so, so excited for this year's garden!

Beautiful! It never ceases to amaze me what those little seeds can do! Lucky you, just look at your rhubarb... All three of our rhubarb plants didn't survive our extremely soggy spring. :-(
Hi beverly,

That is so exciting...won't be long before you are harvesting and canning!!! Reaping all the bounty from your hard work...couldn't get any better than that!
Fresh asparagus is the best. Strawberry and rhubarb pie isn't to bad either. Lucky duck!

Do you have any good recipes for rhubarb? I was blessed with 3 plants last spring and they are growing so fast. I can't wait to try them.
I am the only asparagus eater in this house and so, it was not put on the list. Should have insisted! The forsythia you've got on the hill there is beautiful!

I sure hope it dries out soon or we'll have to worry about mold and root rot..Good time for mushrooms!!

Everything is really looking great! I must say the green is a nice change. Now I'd like some sun.
